The final Shah of Iran (1919–1980) prior to the establishment of an Islamic republic in that country in 1979. Color linen-finish 7.25 x 9.25 photo, signed in blue ink “M. R. Pahlavi, 5/3/1980.” Pahlavi died on July 27 of the same year. A few very faint, subtle ink smudges, otherwise fine, clean condition. R&R COA.
