American showman (1860–1942) who began his career as a trapper and Pawnee interpreter and later became a partner in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. DS, signed “G. W. Lillie,” one page both sides, 8.5 x 14, December 2, 1903. A lease for a parcel of land in Carnegie, Pennsylvania for use by Lillie’s show. A blueprint map of the land in question is included. Accompanied by two unsigned related letters. In very good condition, with light soiling and handling wear, show-through of typed text behind signature, and cancellation ink stamp to signature.
