A gangster stays “current”

Legendary organized crime leader (1902–1983) who headed the notorious “enforcement” syndicate Murder, Inc., which emerged in the early 1930s as successor to the warring Prohibition gangs and the old-line Mafia, and continued to operate into the 1950s. Bank check, 6.25 x 2.75, filled out and signed by Lansky, payable to Owners and Tenants Electric Co. Inc. for $10.10, February 20, 1936. Vertical fold, and punch cancellations touching first name and “L,” otherwise fine condition. Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
