Ten copies are for presentation and seven hundred and fifty are for subscription. This is copy 763.” Book is accompanied by a small typed note which reads, “When the copies were signed my friend Paul had a few extra numbered, with Einstein’s permission. This is one of the ‘extras’ which Paul gave to me as I had worked with him on his complete series of Library of Living Philosophers and we had become close friends.” In fine condition, with a mild shade of toning to signed page, and a small owner’s label affixed to inside front cover. An extremely interesting and beautiful book divided into four sections, the first is Einstein’s autobiography, the second, essays on the work of Einstein, the third, Einstein'’ reply, and the fourth, a comprehensive bibliography of Einstein's writing.
