Vintage pearl-finish 7.5 x 9.5 photo of an older Ruth in his Yankees road uniform, most likely taken at the 1934 All Star game at the old Polo Grounds, swinging away at the plate in a bunting-draped stadium while under the watchful eyes (and lenses) of several photographers, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Jackie from Babe Ruth.” In very good condition, with surface dent and fleck of emulsion loss to right of Ruth’s mid-section, missing lower left corner tip, trivial tiny tear to bottom border, and some scattered light surface marks and soiling.
