Wyeth and father Andrew Wyeth), he had his first one-man show in New York City at the age of 20. ALS signed “Jamie,” one page, 6.75 x 9.75, personal letterhead, no date [envelope postmarked August 2, 1971]. Wyeth writes to Fred Speers in Escondido, California. In full: “Thank you for the clipping. Although a somewhat mixed bag of an article—I am happy to have it.
