Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Maryland (1740–1799). Ink signature, “Wm. Paca, 10 Feb. 1783,” on an off-white 3 x 1.5 slip tipped to a larger slip. A touch of mild toning and soiling, otherwise fine condition. In his 1995 reference History Comes to Life, Kenneth Rendell places Paca’s autograph material into the “rare” category among the Signers.
