Partial partly printed DS, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page on vellum, 7 x 4.75, June 7, 1828. Countersigned by Henry Clay as secretary of state. Matted and framed with an engraving to an overall size of 15.25 x 23.75. In good condition, with scattered soiling and light wrinkling, creases (one just touching first letter of signature), and faint offsetting of ink lightly touching signature.
