Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Delaware (1734–1817) who later served as Revolutionary War officer, delegate to the Continental Congress, and Governor of Pennsylvania. Partly printed DS, signed “Tho. M:Kean,” one page on vellum, 21 x 11.75, September 10, 1806. A grant for a parcel of land called “Blue Point” in Potter County, issued to Robert Blackwell. The embossed paper seal remains intact above the signature. Accompanied by an unsigned antique portrait engraving.
