Dutch-born American painter (1904–1997) who was was of the seminal figures of the Abstract Expressionist movement. Hand-addressed and signed mailing envelope , 9.5 x 4.25, addressed by de Kooning to Kitty Carlisle Hart, signed in the return address area in the top left, “de Kooning,” adding his New York mailing address. Envelope is postmarked May 22, 1985. In fine condition, with water spot to lower portion of return address, not affecting signature. R&R COA.
