Description

Famed photographer (1904–1992) whose distinctive images from 1930s and 1940s Hollywood defined the look of Golden Age glamour photography. Gorgeous limited edition matte-finish 16 x 20 Hurrell photo of Harlow reclining on a bearskin rug, printed in 1979 from an original 1934 negative as part of the photographer’s Portfolio I, numbered 114/250, signed in black ink in the blank lower margin “Hurrell.” The image, taken at Harlow’s home, was originally published as a full-page spread in Vanity Fair magazine. Matted and framed to an overall size of 29 x 35.25. A touch of mild rippling, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA. Oversized.
