Description

Influential British writer (1894–1963) best known for the twentieth-century classics Brave New World and The Doors of Perception. ALS, one page both sides, 5.25 x 6.5, personal letterhead, July 20, 1959. Huxley writes to Mr. Greenfield. In part: “It will be best, I think for you to get a copy from McGibbon & Kee of the finally emended introduction and the footnote in which the present status of Dolei in relation to the lay & the Italian government is mentioned. I don’t have copies of those. They do. So please write to London for them.” A few ink smudges to text and staple holes and small tears to top margin, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
