Three business checks endorsed in ballpoint by Buddy Holly and the Crickets, 8.25 x 3, 1957–58, each filled out in type and signed by the group’s manager, Norman Petty. One check is payable to Holly for $200.00; one is payable to Joe Mauldin for $200.00; and the last is payable to Tommy Allsup for $175.62. In fine condition, with central vertical folds to Holly’s and Allsup’s checks, moderate show-through from stamps on Holly’s check, and expected cancellation holes and stamps to other.
