Bold endorsement signature, “Greta Garbo,” on the reverse of an 8.25 x 3.5 check for $21,200 made out to her by MGM and dated March 22, 1927. Folds (a few tiny separations), punch cancellation hole, and mild handling wear, otherwise fine condition, with no faults affecting the bold signature. In the same year, Garbo costarred with John Gilbert in Love, playing the role of Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina. She reprised the same role in the 1935 adaptation of the same work.
