American character actor (1901–1980) who appeared in such classics as They Drive by Night, Sergeant York, and Yankee Doodle Dandy. He is best remembered for his role as henpecked, long-suffering husband Abner Kravitz on the popular 1960s sitcom Bewitched. Vintage textured matte-finish photo neatly trimmed in size to 10.5 x 13, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Harry, Best wishes, George Tobias.” Small corner creases, small scratch to shoulder, and a hint of very subtle rippling to top edge, otherwise fine condition.
