Description

American author (born 1926) whose first—and still only—novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, won the Pulitzer Prize in 1960 and went on to become one of the most beloved classics of the twentieth century. Souvenir typed excerpt from her classic To Kill a Mockingbird on a plain white 8.5 x 11 sheet. The beginning of Chapter One, in part, “When he was nearly thirteen, my brother Jem got his arm badly broken at the elbow. When it healed, and Jem’s fears of never being able to play football were assuaged, he was seldom self-conscious about his injury.” Signed in black ink at the conclusion. In fine condition, with some scattered light wrinkles and creases. R&R COA.
