Unsigned original artwork by Jimi Hendrix, a colorful abstract image including stylized figures hidden within leaf-like shapes, felt tip on paper trimmed to the irregular contours of the image and affixed to mat board, the artwork measuring approximately 4 x 6.5. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the Bob and Kathy Levine Collection, which reads, in part: “The artwork is described below is one of only 18 drawings by Jimi Hendrix which were given to Kathy Eberth (now Levine) by Jimi. The Levines worked closely with Hendrix in the U.S.A. Bob was a key member of Jimi’s management team, Kathy … was Jimi’s personal secretary and confidante….” The items are framed and matted together to an overall size of 31.5 x 23.5. In fine condition.
