Rare vintage glossy 8 x 10 original United Press International wire photo of Mickey Mantle and Yankee scout Tom Greenwade, prior to Mantle’s knee operation in Springfield, Missouri, signed later in blue felt tip by Mantle. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from James Spence. In very good condition, with scattered creasing and surface marks, repaired tear to top left corner, and light crazing to finish.
