1787: ADAMS signs in Great Britian in the midst of the Constitutional Convention

Partial DS, one page, 7 x 1.75, August 21, 1787. A segment of what appears to be a legal document signed in Great Britain while Adams was American Minister to the Court of St. James. In part: “Done at our House in Grosvenor Square Westminster this 21 day of August A.D. 1787: In Testimony whereof we have caused the Impression of our Hands to be hereunto affixed.” Light vertical folds (one to last name), light soiling, and small chip to one edge, otherwise fine, bright condition. The signature is unusually large, dark, and bold. Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
