Vintage pearl-finish photo trimmed in size to approximately 7 x 8.25, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Betty from Charlie.” According to the consignor, the photo was obtained from the son of actress Betty Morrissey (1908–1944), who appeared with Chaplin in such films as The Circus and The Gold Rush. Accompanied by a modern copy of a photo of Chaplin and Morrissey together. In very good condition, with trimming as noted and a few scattered surface marks and small creases.
