Pioneering rock and roll promoter and disc jockey (1922–1982), born Murray Kaufman, whose frenetic style became a model for the antics of present-day on-air personalities. An early supporter of the Beatles, his close association with him caused him to be dubbed the “fifth Beatle.” Glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed in ballpoint, “To Jan & Freddy, Good luck from Murray the K.” In fine condition, with pinholes to corners, scattered surface marks and a few small creases.
