An appointment for Abijah Holmes as justice of the peace in Cumberland County, New Jersey. Matted with an antique engraving to an overall size of 27.5 x 20. In good to very good condition, with document professionally silked on both sides, and intersecting folds with associated toning, small holes, and separations (now stabilized; vertical fold to first letter).
