Arnold writes to E. D. Smith in Dayton. In part: “Thanks very much for your letter … enclosing the pictures of the old Wright hangar…. To me it was a real landmark in the history of aviation and I regret more than I can say that it has to come down. In view of the circumstances, however, I can see no other course to take….” Intersecting folds (lightly touching signature) and mild scattered soiling and handling wear, otherwise fine condition.
