American admiral (1888–1972) who commanded the Allied Naval Forces in the southwest Pacific, as well as the U.S. Seventh Fleet, during World War II. Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo, signed in fountain pen “Thomas C. Kincaid, Admiral, U.S. Navy.” In very good to fine condition, with a hint of mild rippling to top and bottom edges, a few faint creases, marginal staple holes, small spot of silvering to dark portion at bottom, and indistinct contrast to a few letters against background.
