Description

Vintage glossy 13.75 x 11 photo of a casually dressed Ike and Richard Nixon sitting beside a log cabin, signed and inscribed in ink in the lower border, “For Harry Anholt with best wishes, Dwight D. Eisenhower,” and in the image at lower right, “To Harry M. Anholt with appreciation for his many courtesies & all good wishes from Richard Nixon.” Nixon’s writing is visible only as an impression, and only viewed at an angle; we are therefore offering the item as signed by Eisenhower only. Matted and framed to an overall size of 20.75 x 16.5. In very good condition, with scattered small creases and bends (touching both faces). Ike’s writing is clear and unaffected. Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
