Gilt-edged place card from a 1981 luncheon at the White House, bearing the calligraphic name of Yankees Hall of Famer [Bill] Dickey, 4 x 2.25, signed in black ink by Ronald Reagan and Bowie Kuhn. The item has been affixed to a black 8.5 x 11 sheet along with the original envelope and table card and (on the other side) the invitation and mailing envelope. The luncheon took place on March 17, two weeks before John Hinckley’s assassination attempt on Reagan on March 30. Mounting as noted and a few smudges and small spots, otherwise fine condition.
