Description

Saxophonist and singer, Jordan was the most popular “race” recording artist throughout the 1940s. The Broadway show, Five Guys Named Moe, was devoted to Jordan’s music. Vintage glossy 3.5 x 6 candid photo of Jordan standing on a city street, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Violet, Best wishes, Louis Jordan.” In fine condition, with creasing to top left corner, not affecting overall image.
