Hart, Honorary President of the Philadelphia Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In full (translated): “I have long admired the work which the Boy Scouts of America is doing among the youth of America. In its emphasis on the development of character and good citizenship among the young, it is building secure foundations for America’s tomorrow. The Chinese people have observed the work of this great American organization with particular interest because many of its objectives are basically identical with our own. Especially, in our New Life Movement, Chinese youth has been working along kindred and parallel lines. Let me express to you, Dr. Hart, my personal wishes for a yet greater future for your significant organization….” In fine condition, with a touch of mild handling wear and wrinkling and a few creases.
