Manuscript DS in Old French, signed “Catherine,” one page, 8.25 x 12.5, 1568. An untranslated document or official letter mentioning “peace between subjects” and “L’Allemagne” [England]. Countersigned by another official. Matted and framed with an antique engraving to an overall size of 21 x 20.5. In very good condition, with intersecting folds (lightly touching signature), scattered faint foxing and staining, and a hint of mild wrinkling. R&R COA. Oversized.
