President of Egypt (born 1918) from 1970 until his assassination in 1981. For his role in the historic Camp David Peace Agreement, he shared the 1978 Nobel Peace Prize with Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin. Vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 5.5 photo of a younger Sadat in his military uniform, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint in Arabic and dated 1954.
