ANS in pencil signed “TAE,” at the bottom of a letter sent to him by employee F. G. Blinne, one lightly lined page, 8.5 x 11, August 9, 1927. Edison responds to Blinne’s message regarding “surface tests” and other experiments with phonograph records. In full: “Blinne—The music room couldn’t test these—Go ahead & test the 5 lots—Then turn over to music room.” Intersecting folds (away from signature), light wrinkling, and even toning, otherwise fine condition.
