They are also famed for their prowess as a live band, being described as “possibly the greatest live band ever.” Endorsed personal check, 8 x 3.25, filled out in type and payable to Moon, for $2787.93, dated December 6, 1976, endorsed twice on the reverse in ballpoint, “Keith Moon,” and a Who’s Next album, signed on the front cover in black felt tip by Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, and John Entwistle. Both are matted and framed together with a 1976 bank statement of Keith Moon’s account, showing him overdrawn and also showing the check’s posting date of December 10, to an overall size of 25.75 x 21.5. In fine condition, with expected cancellation stamps on reverse of chck, affecting just a couple letters of signatures. R&R COA. Oversized.
