An untranslated letter to the Duc de Feltre, mentioning clothing and equipment for three battalions and inquiring about officers who speak English. A small handwritten endorsement slip in another hand is pinned to the lower left corner. Very faint, nearly invisible intersecting mailing folds (lightly touching signature), otherwise very fine condition. A most handsome example for display!
