Almost impossible to obtain Mike Marshall

He played for 14 seasons (1967 - 1981, excluding 1968) for nine different teams, including multi-year stints with the Montreal Expos, Los Angeles Dodgers and Minnesota Twins. Marshall won the National League Cy Young Award in 1974 as a member of the Dodgers as well as being named the NL Pitcher of the Year by The Sporting News. ALS, one page, lightly-lined, 8 x 7.5, January 26, 1970. Letter to Topps founder Sy Berger. In part, “I am sorry about complaining about not receiving the dishwasher when matters were out of your control. I thought our order was in before the G. E. strike…Please cancel our order and hold the $125.00 for another merchandise order during the 1970 season.” In fine condition, with missing top left corner.
