Nice 11 x 8.5 cardstock photo of the 1953 Negro American League Champion Monarchs, signed in black felt tip by eleven members including: Ernie Banks, Buck O’Neil, Pancho Herrera, Juan Armenteros, Sherwood Brewer, Ernest Johnson, Gene Richardson, Dick Phillips, Joe Douse, John ‘Loopie’ Jackson, and Bill Van Buren. The next season, Banks became the first African-American Chicago Cub and O’Neil became the major league’s first African-American coach in 1962. In fine condition.
