TLS signed “C. A. Lindbergh,” one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal Daniel Guggenheim Fund letterhead, May 28, 1928. Lindbergh writes to Major J. A. Ulio, Secretary of the Army and Navy Club. In full: “I acknowledge with appreciation the receipt of your letter of May twenty-third informing me that the privileges of the Army and Navy Club have been extended to me. Please express my thanks to the Board of Governors.” In very good condition, with scattered faint stains (one touching a few letters of last name), a few ink blots and wrinkles, and secretarial stamps and notations.
