Official Spalding National/International League baseball signed in fountain pen on a side panel “Babe Ruth” and “Lou Gehrig,” and signed in blue ballpoint above Ruth’s signature “Joe DiMaggio.” The ball is also signed in fountain pen by International League president J. C. Toole and Bill McKechnie, who adds “July 23/29,” and in ballpoint by Bob Feller, Lou Boudreau, and Jack Dempsey, who adds “5/16/60.” Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from James Spence. In very good condition, with mild overall soiling to ball, DiMaggio’s signature slightly overlapping onto a couple letters of Ruth’s signature, light brush to a single letter in Ruth’s first name, and a few light strokes to Gehrig’s signature.
