Vintage 8 x 10 photo of Ruth in his Yankees road uniform, swinging away at the plate under the watchful eyes of several photographers, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Mush from Babe Ruth, June 9th, 1937.” Double matted and framed to an overall size of 11 x 14. The original collector’s notation on the reverse indicates that the signature was obtained at CBS on June 9, 1937. In very good condition, with several noticeable creases (including a vertical crease passing through Ruth’s body and facial area), and a paperclip impression to top edge and small stain to upper left corner (both of which have been matted out).
