Meeting with the Minister of War during World War I

Nobel Prize–winning, Italian-born engineer (1874–1937) whose development of “wireless telegraphy,” better known to the world at large as radio, would come to exert a profound and immeasurable influence not only on communications, but on modern civilization itself. ALS in Italian, one page both sides, 4.75 x 7.75, Grand Hotel, Rome letterhead, October 4, 1915. An untranslated letter evidently discussing his schedule and mentioning and appointment with the Minister of War. Accompanied by an ALS of authenticity, also in Italian and evidently from the original recipient, on “Ministero della Poste e Dei Telegrafi” letterhead, dated November 4, 1915. In fine condition.
