Vintage matte-finish 9.5 x 7 rear-view photo of Churchill, Eisenhower, and French Premier Joseph Laniel facing a battery of photographers at the 1953 Bermuda Conference, signed in fountain pen in the blank lower margin “Winston S. Churchill” and “Dwight D. Eisenhower.” The four-day Bermuda Conference, which took place from December 4–8, 1953, was held to discuss issues of international security. Accompanied by a 1953 letter of transmittal from Churchill’s secretary stating that Churchill inscribed a copy at the request of the photographer and kept a copy for himself.
