In part: “Thank you so much for the two boxes of delicious strawberries which we have thoroughly enjoyed. They put my attempts at gardening to shame, though we really have enlarged the Government House vegetable gardens considerably hoping eventually to be self-contained. It was … generous of you to give all the ice cream for the Red Cross Fair. The platters as you can imagine were licked clean….” Light handling wear, tear to blank top margin of each sheet, and marginal pieces of tape to signed page (well away from writing), otherwise fine condition.
