Impressive collection of approximately 950 vintage signatures contained within fourteen leatherbound autograph albums, aquired from the late 1930s to the 1950s. Most signatures are in fountain pen, with only a few in pencil. Many signatures are single-paged, with some back to back. Most are inscribed to Marty or Adele, with just a few signatures on affixed slips or cards. Albums were the property of a professional photographer named Martin Cohen, with several signers adding a reference to him making them look good and the remainder(later books) were collected by a lady named Elise who worked at Vendome in the deli.
