Bad self-image? Jett pens the lyrics for “Hate Myself”

American rock musician (born Joan Marie Larkin, 1960) best known for her No. 1 single “I Love Rock ’n’ Roll.” Handwritten souvenir lyrics for the song “Hate Myself,” signed at the conclusion “Joan Jett,” one page, 8.5 x 11, no date. In part [her spellings retained]: “Midnight gettin’ uptight where are you/You said you’d meet now its quarter to two/I know I’m hangin but I’m still wantin you/Hey Jack it’s a fact they’re talkin in town/I turn my back an you’re messin around/I’m not really jealous don’t like lookin’ like a clown/I think of you every night an day/You took my heart and you took my pride away….” Small piece of tape to reverse and bend to one corner, otherwise fine, clean condition.
