Assigning recording rights to his British phonograph subsidiary

DS in pencil, signed “Thos. A. Edison,” two pages, 8.5 x 11.75, July 23, 1912. A copy of the minutes for a meeting of the Edison board of directors, specifying, among other matters, the assignment of rights to various Edison recordings to Edison’s British subsidiary, the National Phonograph Company, for the sum of £500. Edison, along with four other board members, has signed at the conclusion of the second page. In good to very good condition, with another signature and fold lightly touching Edison’s signature, clipped corner to each page, file holes, and scattered chipping, toning, staining, and trimming to margins. The signature is otherwise clean and unaffected. R&R COA.
