FOR QUEEN AND COUNTRY: McCartney signs a “Union Jack” guitar

Grammy Award–winning English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist (born 1942) who first gained worldwide fame as one of the founding members of The Beatles. McCartney and John Lennon formed one of the most influential and successful songwriting partnerships and wrote some of the most popular music in rock music history. Following his departure from the Beatles, McCartney launched a successful solo career and formed the band Wings with his wife, Linda McCartney. McCartney is listed in Guinness World Records as the most successful musician and composer in popular music history, with 60 gold discs and sales of 100 million singles. Cream-colored Fender Squier Telecaster electric guitar, with a custom-made Union Jack pickguard, signed across the pickguard in blue felt tip. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Blair Richards, stating the signature was obtained in October of 2006 in Columbus, Ohio after a concert. In fine condition.
