Curse reversed: 2004 ALCS game-used, team-signed Sox ball

Official Rawlings game-used American League baseball from Game 6 of the 2004 ALCS against the New York Yankees, signed in ballpoint by twenty-seven team members: Theo Epstein, Terry Francona, Curt Schilling, David Ortiz, Johnny Damon, Kevin Millar, Pedro Martinez, Jason Varitek, Manny Ramirez, Trot Nixon, Keith Foulke, Tim Wakefield, Gabe Kapler, Mike Myers, Brad Mills, Dave Roberts, Curtis Leskanic, Mark Bellhorn, Bronson Arroyo, Kevin Youkilis, Alan Embree, Doug Mientkiewicz, Lynn Jones, Dave Wallace, Dale Sveum, Ron Jackson, and Doug Mirabelli. Also included is a 37 x 24 shadow box display with a color 20 x 16 photo of the Sox celebrating their victory. The 2004 American League Championship Series was played between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. The Red Sox, down three games to none and trailing by a run in the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 4, came back to win the series in seven games, becoming the first team in major-league history to win a seven-game postseason series after losing the first three games. Following their comeback victory, the Red Sox went on to sweep the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2004 World Series, ending one of the longest droughts in baseball history, as the Red Sox hadn’t won the World Series since 1918. In fine condition, with expected light wear and soiling from game use and several authentication holograms affixed to ball. Auction LOA Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
