Vintage 6.5 x 4.5 Beatles fan club photo of the Fab Four neatly dressed in jackets and ties, signed on the reverse in black ink, “John Lennon,” “Paul McCartney,” and “George Harrison,” and in blue ink, “Ringo Starr.” Double matted and framed so that both sides may be viewed to an overall size of 18 x 16. Although the Beatles’ initial musical style was rooted in 1950s rock and roll, the group explored a great variety of genres ranging from Tin Pan Alley to psychedelic rock. Their clothes, hairstyles, and public statements made them trend-setters, while the growing social awareness manifested in their music exerted a direct influence on the social and cultural revolutions of the 1960s. The Recording Industry Association of America certified the group as the highest-selling band of all time based on American sales of singles and albums. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked the Beatles #1 on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. In fine condition, with some light horizontal lines of mild toning and a few light creases away from signatures. All signatures are large, clear, bold, and visible from afar.
