Ugly Duckling putter used by Watson in the 1990 Masters Tournament, signed on the face in black felt tip, “Tom Watson.” Watson finished 12th in the tournament, taking home a prize of $35,150. A 1990 Golf Monthly article on the tournament notes that Watson, “armed with a new Ugly Duckling putter which he had removed from a pile of over 100 gathering dust in his basement ... holed an 18-foot birdie putt on the 36th green to survive the half-way cut.” Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA, a 1992 TLS of authenticity from Watson (with autopen signature), several pages of published documentation (including the article quoted above), and a videocassette of Watson auctioning the putter for charity. In fine condition, with expected mild wear from use. Oversized. R&R COA.
