Dirty-mouthed Audrey? “I am potty about the grey-black speckled blouse it was made for me!”

ALS, three pages, 6 x 8, La Paisible Tolochenaz letterhead, August 21, 1985. Letter of thanks to Judy Shepard and David Hayes for sending numerous outfits to Hepburn from the United States. In part, “On our return from our seaside holiday I found a mountain of D. H. boxes - one outfit lovelier than the other and I have never stepped into a pair of pants that fitted or suited me better. I shall live in them - what a great outfit for all my travels. I am potty about the grey-black speckled blouse it was made for me!” Accompanied my the original mailing envelope, addressed in Hepburn’s hand, adding a return mailing address on the reverse. In fine condition, with a couple light letter brushes. R&R COA.
