ALS, one page on Forster’s 6 x 4 personal postcard, March 4, 1943. Forster writes to Patrick Thornhill. In part: “I have kept your MS maps … for a long time now, and feel they should return to you. It is most kind of you to have lent them. I remember your suggesting that you might be as good as to call for them, since they won’t be easy to post. I shall be in on Sunday morning if you and Mrs. Thornhill happen to be free to come over and have a glass of sherry with me.” Light soiling and a few small spots to blank portions, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
